Slidetoberfest is an annual festival of surfing, motorcycles, and music that Deus Ex Machina (https://baliforum.ru/places/deus-ex-machina) hosts in Canggu and on the beaches near Tanah Lot. In 2026 it takes place from October 23 to 25: competitions run during the day, and musicians and DJs play in the evenings. On Friday, October 23, surfers compete at Pererenan Beach (https://baliforum.ru/places/surf-spot-pererenan). Heats start at seven in the morning, with four people in each, and 30 minutes are allotted for the final. From 16:00 the program moves to Deus, where a barbecue is held from 18:30. On Saturday, October 24, on the black sand of Pasut Beach (https://baliforum.ru/places/plyazh-pasut) (Pantai Pasut), about half an hour's drive from Canggu, a Dress Up Drag Race is held — straight-line speed races in which riders compete in costumes. Participants are divided into classes by engine type, while customs — one-off bikes built as a single copy — compete separately. In the evening at Deus, Andre Yoga — the artist who designed this year's festival — opens his exhibition. On Sunday, October 25, at nine in the morning at Pangkung Tibah Beach (Pantai Pangkung Tibah) near Kedungu (https://baliforum.ru/places/plyazh-kedungu), the Swank Rally starts — a sand rally for experienced racers and beginners. At 16:00 the festival closes at Deus: winners are announced, trophies are awarded, and then the Indonesian surf-rock band The Panturas performs.
