🏔 Hike to the summit through the jungle and a mountain river • "Above the Mountains" On Saturday we're going to one of the highest peaks near Nha Trang - Blue Eye, 927 meters. And we won't be going up the usual trail, but through the jungle and along a mountain riverbed. First we make our way through the forest to the river, then a significant part of the ascent goes right along the riverbed: big rocks, water, crossings from bank to bank, and sections where you'll have to use your hands to help yourself. Along the way there will be natural pools where you can get in the water and cool off. The final point is the Blue Eye summit at about 927 meters with a view of Nha Trang, the sea, and the mountains around. 🟠 Level - above average A route for those who can handle prolonged exertion, ascents, and moving over rocks. Ahead there are about 7 hours of movement and practically a whole day in the mountains, so it's best to assess your strength in advance. If this is your first mountain hike, it's better to start with one of our green routes. ⏱ About the route: • ascent about 4 hours • descent about 3 hours • a significant part of the way along the riverbed • rocks, water, and jungle • we set aside practically the whole day 🗓 October 10, Saturday 🕢 07:45 - meet up 🕗 08:00 - set off on the route 📍 Meeting place: The Fairy Forest Location here 🏍 We leave motorbikes near the start of the route 🎒 What to bring: • sneakers with good grip • sports clothing that dries quickly • water at least 3 liters, better 4-6 • a proper snack for the whole day • SPF • a small backpack • gloves optional A long-sleeve top will be a plus - in places there's a lot of dense vegetation. Footwear and clothing may get wet. 💚 Participation is free.
