On October 4, 5, 7, and 8, Drumming Immersion will take place at Ubud Drum — a West African djembe masterclass with Catur Hari Wijaya and Ania Wijaya. Each session runs from 10:00 to 12:00 WITA. The program totals eight hours; October 6 is a break. Participants will learn one traditional celebratory rhythm, its parts, and how they come together into a complete composition. The program covers hand coordination, tone, sense of time, and tempo. Catur leads the djembe parts, while Ania accompanies the group on dundun. The masterclass is suitable for beginners and intermediate-level participants. Professional djembes are provided during the sessions. The price also includes access to video materials for independent practice. Classes are held at the Ubud Drum music studio, which shares an entrance with Suly Resort & Spa.
