Jl. Petitenget No.51B, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, IndonesiaMerasa, which in Indonesian means "to feel," is a series of projects by Desa Potato Head dedicated to the origins of Asia's wellness traditions and spiritual practices. Merasa Origins: Java — a four-day immersion into ancient Javanese wisdom with Pak Sugeng, guardian of Candi Sukuh — a 15th-century temple on the slopes of Mount Lawu, built in the final years of the Majapahit era. At the heart of the program is the Jawadwipa tradition, uniting Hindu-Buddhist-Tantric knowledge and Javanese Kebatinan philosophy. This knowledge was passed down orally from teacher to student for centuries and rarely left the confines of temple tradition. Together with spiritual anthropologist Serj Hunt, participants will explore the three main branches of Javanese practice: ✨ Tattwa and Tutur — direct knowledge and wisdom transmitted through tradition✨ Susila — right interaction with the world and discipline of body, speech, and consciousness✨ Upacara — ceremony as an essential part of spiritual practice Participants will experience stories, sound, practices, ceremonies, and the opportunity to receive knowledge directly from its living bearer. 🍽️ All meals, classes, and workshops are included in the program. You can join for all four days with accommodation or purchase a day pass. instagram (https://seminyak.potatohead.co/merasa-origins?utm_source=seeevetns&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=merasa-origins-java-september-2026&utm_term=bali-event&utm_content=experience-referral-august-2026)
