🎬 On Monday at Show’n’Tell Cinema Club, Robert is screening “Rashomon” (Rashomon, 1950)! ✨ This is the first Akira Kurosawa film we’re showing at our club! The director tells the story of a violent crime through several contradictory testimonies. A samurai is found dead, and his wife has been attacked. But each participant and witness describes what happened in their own way, and gradually completely different versions of the same story emerge before us. The film offers no simple answer and asks a far more unsettling question: can we ever know the truth if every person perceives reality in their own way? Mysterious, atmospheric, and psychologically intense, “Rashomon” explores the nature of truth, memory, perception, and human nature. It is one of those films that changed the very idea of how stories can be told in cinema. 🗣 The film will be shown in the original language (Japanese) with English subtitles, after which we will discuss the film together and share our impressions. 📽 Participation: donation (recommended amount 50k) ⏰ Time: September 21, 19.00 📍 Venue: The Workshop 📫 Address: 35 Che Lan Vien, Da Nang, Vietnam Contact information @infraredfade #date: 21.09
