Events in Cyprus: what's on in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos

See events on the map

Cyprus is not only sea and beaches. In Nicosia and Limassol there is something on almost every evening: plays, concerts by Greek and international musicians, festivals, exhibitions, workshops and sports events. The problem is elsewhere — the listing is scattered across dozens of venues, municipalities, galleries and social accounts. Some announcements are published only in Greek, some only in English, and plenty live in a venue's stories and disappear within a day. Working out what is happening in town this week from scratch is genuinely hard.

MyPins puts Cyprus events on a single map: date, time, a pin on the map, city, category, price (when the organiser has set one) and a link to the original listing. No sign-up: open the map and see what is on in Nicosia, Limassol, Paphos and the other towns of the island.

What kind of events happen in Cyprus

As of 19 October 2026 our database holds 784 active events across nine towns on the island. By category it looks like this:

The language of the announcements varies too: roughly half of the events are listed in English, about a third in Greek and some in Russian. Each event card shows the language and links to the original source, where you can check reschedules, cancellations and ticket availability.

What happens where: the towns of Cyprus

If you are after a specific category, the round-ups are the fastest way in: concerts in Cyprus, theatre and shows, festivals, parties, workshops, sports, tours and excursions, exhibitions. Each one lists events with dates and links to the event cards.

When to come: the event season

Autumn is the busiest season: for October and November 2026 our database holds about 300 events for each month. In December the flow drops to roughly 110 (holiday markets, New Year concerts, school productions), in January to 36, and then grows again towards spring. Summer brings more open-air concerts and beach parties, autumn is festival season — wine, food, culture — and in winter theatre, exhibitions and lectures take the lead.

That is the distribution of dates in our database, not tourism statistics: individual venues may follow a different rhythm. Always check the date on the event card rather than relying on general expectations.

How to find events on the map

Open the Cyprus map and switch on what suits you:

Every event is a pin on the map: date, time, address, town, organiser. Events with several dates show the nearest one, and the card includes an "Other dates in this series" block so you do not have to click through dozens of identical listings.

How much events cost

Prices are not always listed: some venues sell tickets through their own box offices and do not publish the price in the announcement. Where the organiser has set a price, it is shown on the event card; where not, check the original source. Many events on the island are free: gallery exhibitions, lectures, town celebrations, some workshops and sports events.

What else is on MyPins

The map does not stop at Cyprus: see events in Bali, in Nha Trang and in Da Nang. Guides and round-ups live in the MyPins blog, and the story behind the project is on the About page. If you organise events in Cyprus, you can add them to the map so tourists and expats can find them.
